Descrição: StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty é um jogo de ficção científica militar vídeo em tempo real estratégia desenvolvida pela Blizzard Entertainment como uma sequela do premiado jogo de vídeo StarCraft 1998. Lançado em 27 de julho de 2010, o jogo foi desenvolvido para lançamento simultâneo no Microsoft Windows e Mac OS X. StarCraft II está dividido em três parcelas: a base do jogo com o subtítulo Asas da Liberdade, e dois pacotes de expansão, Heart of the Swarm e Legacy of the Void.

Passado no século 26 em uma parte distante da Via Láctea, o jogo é em torno de três espécies: os Terrans, humanos exilados da Terra; os Zergs, uma raça de insectoid assimiladores genética, e os Protoss, uma espécie com grande psiônicos alimentação. Wings of Liberty foca os terráqueos, enquanto as expansões do Coração do Swarm e Legacy of the Void incidirá sobre os Zergs e Protoss, respectivamente. O jogo se passa quatro anos após os eventos de StarCraft: Brood War, e segue as aventuras de Jim Raynor, ele lidera um grupo de insurgentes contra o autocrático Terran Dominion.
